Gone Home is a Virtual Reality experience that simulates the journey of a visually impaired person navigating their way back home. Designed to create a deep sense of empathy and understanding, the experience focuses on the challenges faced by individuals who are blind or visually impaired. To explore and navigate their surroundings, the player must rely on non-visual senses, such as touch (through haptic feedback), sound, and spatial awareness. This VR project explores the concept of VR as an "empathy machine," providing an immersive experience that fosters a profound connection with the world of the visually impaired.
